Capturing your music

Recording for us is about capturing your music at it’s best. Some of that is about technology but we are intentional about making it more about capturing moments and performance, the artist.

After we’ve spent some time talking about your music your influences and what you want to accomplish the easy part begins.  Tracking.  The hard part is understanding enought to get started but not vexing the process with preconcieved perception of what the end product will be.  Somewhere between emulation of your influences and complete obscurity lays something that is uniquely you.  Understanding that is difficult but is the beauty of the project.

Visual References
What if insted of waiting until your project is completed to begin the visual design process, how inspiring would it be to have your visual artist in the conversation from the beginning ... and what if that art was being created while you were recording ... and what if as that art was completed it was hanging in the studio through out your entire recording process.  See, that’s not branding or advertising ... it’s conversation, it’s integration, it’s telling the truth, it’s argument, it’s tention, it’s sometime resolve and sometime motivation for deeper investigation into the heart of your music.

Studio Tools
Though the heart of our technology is digital there are some deliberate efforts in our process to introduce the analogue domain to the signal flow.
